Coming from truly humble beginnings.
Friendly Giant began with Shawn and Chelsea in 2010, coming from truly humble beginnings. Back then we were nothing more than a single Econoline truck and a cell phone, finding our customers through local want ads, coupon companies, and that old reliable, word of mouth.
We’ve been growing ever since, spreading out to become a successful cleaning business delivering quality results across Victoria, with planned expansions into Nanaimo and the North Island.
From that first day, our philosophy has remained the same - superior quality results with a friendly service that puts customers first.
We aim to meet our customer’s needs, not just when it comes to washing their buildings, but with service that puts a smile on their face. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust by delivering you the best service in the industry.
In the Community
We’re exceptionally proud of all the work we’re able to do serving the local community, including:
- Sponsoring a local softball team - The Riff Raff
- Sponsoring the annual Fernfest community event
- Working to help with the BC Children’s Hospital Christmas tree competition at the Bay Centre
- Making our yearly donation to Theatre Inconnu, a local Fernwood based theatre group
We have an exceptional team of technicians and office staff - all very friendly, capable and extremely competent. We also provide continual training to ensure job safety, skilled service, and customer satisfaction.
Adam Brown – "Our Fearless Leader"
As our company has expanded, we required a rock star to handle the day-to-day management of our company and staff. Adam came to us with a background in the executive and IT world (with myriad managerial and leadership experience) and so he is well able to navigate logistics and complexity. With trucks and people running all over town it can get to be chaotic at times but Adam, while being supported by a full-time team of competent office staff, keeps it all buttoned down.
